Wing Spread-Turkey Vulture ( Poop Info. )

Looks like this guy was at the bottom part of the tree last night.

A interesting fact: Vulture poop is actually a sanitizer! Their uric acid is so strong (because of the nature of their diets) that it kills bacteria.

I've seen these birds, several on top of a barn, all holding their wings out like this for minutes at a time. What exactly are they doing? Obviously I'm no bird expert.
