Preston,
here are some proofs from the shoots. Just a disclaimer: I proof with folks pretty much centered in the frame because that's how people prefer to view them. For the final prints, the composition often changes quite a bit.

The beach shots were taken between 4 and 5 in the afternoon. Not exactly the best lighting but it tends to look like a couple all alone on a secluded beach in the Bahamas. This beach was anything but secluded and it was packed with people all the way up and down the beach so I had to be very careful of backgrounds when I was shooting.

This was the first setup, just in front of a dune that was literally 10 feet in front of where we parked on the beach.

Next, we moved down to the water and took some shots with the blue/green ocean in the background.

A strolling guitarist was recruited to serenade the couple and both he and the kids were delighted since Ray is a musician.

I can't stress enough how busy this beach was both with people, vehicles and condos just behind the dunes but with just the right angles, you'd swear it was a secluded island.

The one thing we did not get was a sunset shot. However, the next evening I shot their engagement party and just before we were going to eat, I noticed a gorgeous sunset taking place outside of the clubhouse where the reception was being held. So, I grabbed the kids and we took some sunset shots there. I think they turned out OK.

As I said in my earlier post, the kids are just perfect models. They are attractive, they move wonderfully together and they are very much in love. The wedding, in August, should be a lot of fun.

Enjoy,

Jim
