B]Well finally after all these weeks the young osprey finally took off on 6-25-09 for the first time. Had to wait this one out for a few hours but it was obvious flight was about to happen.
Mama Osprey flew to a near by tower and called to her young. I could see the little guy pacing back and forth, squatting those legs like he wanted to jump.....then finally the big moment. I took so many photos while he was flying around my head, sometimes with in 30 feet.

Loving the freedom off flight...all those months in that nest!!















Man was he getting close to those power lines!!!!








Trying to land near me on the top of the parking garage...but changed his mind.....





A real close fly over right over my head...thought he was going to snatch my camera!!

What a fun and nice set.
