Some folks have issues with Pbase. There is a 'how to post on pbase' thread somewhere if you do a search. As to the images - well. Those are some close shots of some snails, LOL That second one is really nice.

Thanks, the designs on the shells were really interesting. I tried a search but don't think I did it right but think I know what the problem is since you mentioned it. There is a setting on pbase that allows images to be linked from other pages - or not - and I know I have it set to "not".

Diana...you have to put a dot JPG in the link add

".JPG" in your link and you will get:



And now I see direct linking is denied, which is an option you set in your Pbase profile.

Thanks Preston. I think I was just confused overall and now that I look at my first post it was at 2am. Don't know if that was eastern or pacific. I realize that the link was to a gallery page not directly to a photo.

It was a link to a photo. The snail photo. name= snail_Img_9794.jpg in your Little Creatures gallery

You can create a separate gallery for photos you want to link to and just allow it from that gallery.

I like the snail image, btw.
