Magpie In Flight Finally

I don't have any idea why but getting a Magpie in flight has avoided me until now. He started to land on a limb then changed his mind and kept going.

Wow Roger, I would call this an awesome set. All are sharp as a tack and the exposure is right on. I know solid black or white subjects present a challenge to obtain the perfect exposure. This one you were on top of. Great feather detail in both the black and white. I have never seen a Magpie before, guess they're not native to TN. Sure is a beautiful bird.

The last shot certainly has interest, not to say the rest don't but the pose is unique. In the last shot you can view a little of the white on a Magpies tail, what a great example of a Magpie, nice work.

I also like the last shot the best of this bunch.
