Publishing a Breed magazine always includes a fair number of Memorial Ads for well-known dogs that have passed away and even for some lesser-known dogs where the owners just wanted to say "goodbye". We've never run a Memorial Ad in our own magazine. It just seemed emotionally too difficult to create our own Memorial Ad. Annie Fay left us over a year ago and Rowdy and Crash just recently. But with the first monthly issue of The Rottweiler Magazine going to press today, Linda found herself short of the necessary pages. So, she asked me for photos and she created ads for the three dogs we've lost in the past year. The process itself was actually kind of cathartic. I had to go back to early film shoots and dig out images from sleeves of negatives but it brought back a lot of very good memories.

I hope you enjoy seeing the ads and learning about our guys. They were very special to us and we miss them tremendously.

Hi Jim,

Thank you for sharing. I have enjoyed the work that you have shared on each of your guys (and gals) over the years. I almost feel like I knew them (particularly Rowdy) personally.

James

It is always sweet to read about the love others have shared with their pets. The visuals of these tributes a great example of this caring. Thank you for sharing your special relationships.

Great luck to you with the new publication.
