This guy was running late due to the cat food that was left out. I was able to get a few daylight shots of him before he left.

I, too, like the pictures. Nice to see one close up that is not attached to my fingers. I recently had an opportunity to help one, and being the ungrateful sort, he/she actually bit me on the finger and hand, not once, but twice. They have incredibly sharp teeth and lots of them. They are not susceptible to rabies, thank goodness, so that did not become a consideration. Two very potent antibiotics later, I know now to keep my fingers out of the mouth of an opposum.

Thanks for the nice comment. I too helped a baby opossum by feeding it with a bottle. I fed it milk, cat food juice and V-8. After a week I turned it over to the aminal rescue people. They said I done a good job on saving it. It was placed in a box of about twelve more just like it.

Thanks for your comment. I have been watching him for about six months now. This was the first time I was able to cath him in the daylight. The cat food out back slowed him down that day so I was able to get some good shots.
