I tried to snap off a few on this guy. The lighting was fair and he was close, but he was on the run. At first I thought he was running from me but then I noticed up in the distance there she was. And he was on her tail, no pun intended.
Then I realized that’s why PA has a Spring Gobbler Hunting season, the Toms are all stupid with hormones.

Thanks, Jeff

Excellent catch, Jeff! They are so hard to shoot in the woods as they are always ducking through the brush and weeds and tough to get a clear shot.

I got to watch a flock of them strutting around in a field this past Sunday. I'll post some of the photos later.

Best regards,

Dick:)

Every day is a good day.

Hey Dick thanks. It's certainly more of a documentation shot then a good photo, but like you said they are always on the move. He was making a bee line to his girlfriend up ahead and there was stuff in the way. You can see that one stick across his beard.

I look forward to your shots.

Thanks, Jeff
