Hey Everyone,

We got our first real snow-fall this year yesterday. They claim that Central Park at nearly 11 inches this morning. While I did not see anywhere near that much (except in the drifts), it was just great to go out and tromp around with Doggess.

LOL, I thought that we had it rough until I read that parts of Alaska recently had nearly 5 feet 8 inches of snow. Yup. David is apparently in deep. :P

Anyway, here are some shots of Mahkayla playing with us in the snow.

The Siberian part is a very happy girl and she has a real snow nose to boot!
Hope she has many more days of this kind of play. I especially like the last shot.

Reminds me of Rufus, he LOVED the snow. The whippets not so much

She sure loves it! My sister in Conn. says they got about 24 inches. Our Goldens used to love it, too, especially when we vacationed in Vermont. Harvey used to love to "porpoise" through the snow. Only two of our Rotties have ever experienced it and none of the current crew. Mahkayla sure knows how to enjoy the fluffy stuff.

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the positive words. I was very pleased with the shoot...photographing without supplemental light is always difficult on snow. I was out there for about 3 hours with her and her friends. She has developed quite a social scene. I often shudder to think of the damage she could do with a celphone if she were a teenager.
