Out playing this weekend....The lighting was soft....and the trees were clear. This was taken about 1/4 mile away....using a longer lens:

Thanks for taking a peek.

Hey Roman,
Love it. I love the monochromatic background it offers great contrast to the falls them selves. I personally would have zoomed in tighter on this fall, but falling back, showing the large size of the surrounding trees, helps scale the falls and I like it better then a tighter crop. My eyes tend to wander up into the upper left checking out the trees, but always come back to the falls making it a rather dynamic photo.
Great capture from what looks like a very nice hike. I really like “Middle North Falls” too. What an awesome area!

Sorry but I got a chuckle on this. I suppose 70mm is long for you though:)

Thanks, Jeff

So wondering how psychic Jeff really is, looked at Roman's gallery. Good one Jeff.

(Love it too Roman, and more especially your shot of the bridge: that is really beautiful).

Thanks Jeff!! It was a blast. I have some with a tighter crop and its just not as dynamic. My usual lens is my 12-24....but I ALWAYS carry my longer ones...and don't mind changing to them when needed.

PC - thanks....yeah....I almost always use wide angles for my stuff. Appreciate your kind comments.

LOL. Show off. The colors are so nice and saturated because of the soft light you were shooting in. Nicely done.

LOL...thanks James. Light was subdued quite nicely by the dramatic weather sweeping through the park during my trip.
