In May we did a trip down from Donner Summit to Carlsbad Caverns hitting several national parks and monuments along the way. The Southwest is great for panorama photography and I tried to shoot as many as I could. I'll be posting a few in the next week or two. Here's the first one.
Beautiful shot of the rock layers. Just had a flash of the little lines people used to make on a door jam to measure the kids' height as they grew. Kind of what this is, a visual measure of time. Lots of time.
