Hey Guys,

Here are some photos that I took when we were in Maine a few weeks back. As it rained most of the week, I did not think I had enough for an article. I went back and forth with putting these in the National Park Forum, but many of them were not actually taken in Acadia (except the last two).

Very nice James! Love the one of the lighthouse, the red light really compliments the red in the sky. Also the bridge photo, the curve in the bridge and the curve of the rocky shore on the right... very appealing. And the lupine (?) stalks admiring their view.

Love the lighthouse photo, that last photo needs to be straightened, also nice color in the sunset on #1.

Thanks all for the positive feedback. As I had mentioned, it was a tough week because it essentially rained the entire time. There were only a couple of sunrise/sunset opportunities. The one of the Bass Harbor Lighthouse was a bit lucky as I was just packing up to leave because the sunset looked like it got swallowed by some clouds. LOL, I even gave some guy my spot only to be heading up and notice that the color was turning out nicely.

Here are some more photos from the trip. Here you start to see some of the 'weather limitations.'

Thanks, Richard. You and the family really need to get up there. Considering how close it is to you guys, it offers an awful lot.

Hey James - Great photos. I have to agree with the other posts, though... I like the lighthouse best. Looks like you made the best of your week, in spite of the weather. Nice images!

James:

Both sets represent some fine work, despite, as you say, some difficult shooting weather. Very enjoyable!
