Trying to work on adding a new twist to already visited places. Night photogrpahy is starting to intrigue me.

Hi Roman thats a great shot . Out west you don't seam to have the light pollution we have here in Southern Ohio. I have been thinking of night photography also, like waterfalls and stars combined, just trying to come up with something different, maybe doing some painted light into the foreground. BTW what light source is lighting the hills there it looks great?

Hey Randall! Thanks Here is a link that you might like. Looks like West Va is the closese area where you would have darkness. The light source is the moon.

That is truly beautiful. The detail is so impressive. How long was your exposure?

Roman, you're getting me stoked for my upcoming Smith Rock trip. My Uncle's ranch is about 20 mins from the park and he's been bugging me to come out for a long time. I told him I would in September.

Night photos are something that has been grabbing my interest a bit as well. I tried a few in Aus of the Southern Cross and silhouetting, but I need a lot more practice.

Penny, this was a 30sec exposure to keep the stars from streaking into star trails.

Hey Tyler. Have fun out there. If you get there early (daybreak or a bit before) in the morning, enjoy the geese flying around the park waking everyone up. They do it every morning.

Roman
