Penny,
actually, he's showing the the Shelton and Goshen shows this coming weekend and then in the Romulus NY shows 9/30 through 10/3. We haven't done any planning beyond that because, frankly, we're hoping he's finished from these shows. Might not happen but he has a good chance. He should be pointed out after the CT shows (if all goes well) and then just needs one major in Romulus which makes 3, 5 and 5 the last 3 days.

But, these are, after all, dog shows so anything can happen. Especially in a 5 pt. show where there will be nice dogs in every class. Still, I like his chances. He's being shown by Michelle Scott.

Take care,

Jim

GOOD LUCK! The drawback to having an Eskie, I am having problems finding shows with enough to make a Major. I almost signed up for the Romulus show,(which will be a Major for eskies)but it is a 5 hour drive for me. Too far- I suffer from mild agoraphobia, about 2 hours is my limit before panic attacks start.

I may take a trip up to the Goshen show, it's only 15 minutes from my store in New Hartford, Ct. Normally, I enter obedience at this show, but time just slipped away this year.

If you go, try to find the Rottie ring and a very nice lady holding her big Rottie boy ringside. That's Kathy Brown with Brody and she's one of the nicest ladies on the planet. Just mention that you know me and then get ready for Brody kisses.

I'm still trying to figure out where that show is being held. I used to drive my motorcycle up that way a lot but I simply can't place the show venue. We weren't showing in those days. The yuppy puppies -- Goldens Harvey and Molly -- were not show quality. Just wonderful.

That show is at the Goshen Fairgrounds, 116 Old Middle Street,(Route 63) which is right off Route 4. It is a very nice venue, lots of parking - in fields, it's on top of a hill, so it is always windy.

Goshen is in the sleepy northwest corner of the state, very beautiful old farming town, just north of Litchfield, and just south of Caanan and North Caanan. One town to the west from Torrington, and just east of the New York Border.

Penny,
I was born, grew up and worked most of my adult life in CT so I not only know where Goshen is, I've been there. My wife Linda is from Waterbury. I worked in New Haven for 13 years, in Stamford and Greenwich for 5 years and in Hartford for several years. When we lived in Stamford, I'd drive the motorcycle up into the Northwest corner through Washington Depot and Cornwall, Cornwall Bridge and Canaan. Great roads. Very pretty places for pictures, too.

Hope you get to the show.

Jim
