Well I for one am really inspired by these. I'm sure you did have the exposure pretty darn close, because like you said, even with post processing you couldn't get that quality without the exposure being pretty close to begin with.

Hey Dee,

You would be surprised what one can do when photographing in RAW and processing in a program like Capture One. I am often able to come from well more than two stops down to make an image look the way that I want it too.

On another note, I learned some horrible news the other day about Mahkayla's brother (and this goes in line with Julie's post). Mahkayla's brother was recently killed because of his mange.

When we took Mahkayla into our home, we specifically offered to take both dogs. It makes me very angry that the people who took Oren did not have the resources in order to maintain him. His disease is quite manageable (even if it is not always curable).

Welp,

Mahkayla got her very last dip for the mange last week. The doctor says no more are necessary. We thought we had knocked it out a few weeks ago, but it came back. Looks like we are FINALLY in the clear.

I took this in the park outside our house. 160 acres of woodlands - whoever would have thought? In Manhattan, even.

Terrific job you two. I am proud to know people who take such good care of their pets.
Enjoy that Husky ancestory, looks like some Cattle dog too.

Thought I would send you this show in your area. (I think it is your area!)

This is the kind of fundraiser we should all be involved with.
