Here's one from waaay back. I did a little re-working of it today. Funny, but Noise Ninja has put a slight halo around some of the geese, but we voted on it, and I decided not to worry about it!.
I shot this with my little Nikon E4300 on my way to work one morning. These are geese feeding at the top of the dam at Marrowbone Lake. I guess it's a cliche, but: "Your best camera is the one you have with you!"

Hey Durwood,

I like it. The NN issue - is that common?

Never noticed it before, but this was an old jpeg and very contrasty. I don't use NN much, but it has always been good to me. I think the silhouette nature of the shot presented some unique issues (perhaps?).
... and there may have already been some haloing due to the dramatic backlighting (searching for excuses, here).
