Hey guys,
Here's a couple of shots taken this past weekend from my front yard. This red tailed hawk and it's mate have taken up residence near the creek bed below my house. We have recently had four baby squirrels that have emerged from a nest in one of our trees. They definitely have the hawks attention. We do a head count every day.




































This was taken with an older Tamaron 70-300mm without image stabilization. At 300mm and hand held, I only got a few decent "in focus" images. (Perhaps I should have gone easy on the vodka the night before.)
