Hey Everyone,

I want a L bracket for my 5dii (with battery grip). There appear to be two makers (three, including Acra Tech's universal). The question - which is better RRS or Kirk?

Thanks
James

I am a big RRS fan, but I think both are exceptional names in this kind of hardware.

I would look at other gear they have that is comparable and see if there are other things I might want to add to the kit.

That would finalize my buying decision.

No matter what brand you choose (of the ones your considering)I think you would have a hard time being disappointed.

Roman

I agree with Roman. I am a RRS fan, and all my brackets are from them, except the Wimberley Sidekick. Something about their stuff that I just know is top notch. However, I would think that Kirk is also good, though I don't own any of their gear. For what it's worth (likely not much smile ), I fell once and landed on the pavement, with my camera and L-bracket between me and my ribs. The L-bracket saved my camera, which only ended up with some scratches. I had a cracked rib, though.
