No image on my screen peggysue. Does anyone/everyone else see it? (Can't open anything by clicking 'attachment' either).

Edited: now have read your second line. Will wait for the advice - do you upload from your website or a photo-host site? We don't from our website because it skews the viewing stats, so use a PhotoBucket site to upload from, it is quick and easy (and free).

Hi Peggy,

The reason why your image did not show up in your post is because you forgot the 'http://www.' prior to your URL.

I think I have it!!! No more cut and paste without looking.
Thanks for the advise.
The collage is for a specialty show that I had hoped to get some input on. The image of the birds is one I am really having a hard time with and also am looking for input.

This is exactly what I hope the general public go through and give up and come back to the OP. Obviously the bird pic did not come up. I am giving up on posting pics and will just stick to the written word. (as boring as that can be)

I really enjoy your comments on posted images. It is great fun to see how others look at your work. Critiques are the best! It would be nice to have a section on critiques where no name is attached. That way no expectations are given knowing the photographer and maybe more from the gut reactions may be posted. But then we know where the cropping would be coming from!!!!

On that note, I often wonder when you view a painting do you evaluate it with the same reasoning as a photograph. Tony, I love to see your cropping. It seems to me that when we look at other medium the cropping is more of a factor with photography. Why is that?

Peggysue the collage is great, I'd like to know more about it - is it to actually print onto a throw, or is it a poster-size image to give that idea? I love the team shot and would give it more emphasis but I do not know how, without making the portrait shots smaller which would lose the effect. I really would like to see your bird montage, any chance you could have another try at it.

Are you highlighting and copying/pasting the "IMG" line under your Photobucket thumbnail: that is the one to copy and paste: I thought you might have just been copying either the URL or the TAG line above it, which would not work.

The woven throw is done by a company that weaves the image. I will try to post an image with Kodak in front of the throw. It will give you a better idea. Hope this will work! [image][/image]

Oh goody! you solved it for me- thanks.
