I am not a graphic artist, nor am I very artistic in general. I have quickly made up this one from a couple of photos I have done.

Any suggestions, tips, room for improvement help would be wonderful!

Hi Juli,

I am curious to see how you will apply this on a website or other design. I like the concept- though you misspelled 'photography' on the bottom. I might be interested in a slightly higher res version of the file as the horse and dog appear grainy.

James

Hahahaha! I did mispell it! I didn't even notice.

I put a sketch action on the animals to make them look more like drawings. May not work well

It's interesting, I like it, it might not fit very well on a business card... I think your name, Julie, is too squished. . .

I agree, the name is squished. I don't think I would use this for business cards, but maybe stationary and bills.

I like the gothic text better; I'm not a big fan of calligraphy or serif

I too like the gothic text better, but I'm curious how it would look it you simply over layed the text in a horizontal position rather than the curve.

I think this is a good idea too, to try with a horizontal text instead of the curve. For the record, I like the curve too. The logo is very nice, and I like the sketch look.
