We have been given an 17'2(+) imported irish sport horse gelding. I did not need(or want) a second horse, but my husband accepted it and it is now his. I really do like him though. I have to buy him a new bridle and bit as I have nothing close to fitting his head. He needs oversized tack and probably a 6" bit.

The photos were taken mid day and the light was VERY harsh. So, quality is not the best. Where he is at the moment, is hard to get to in the morning and evening due to traffic and road construction

Wow! He is huge and seems extremely gently with your daughter. What a great horse to grow into. Gives me a nose bleed just thinking about the mounting block I would have to use.
I wish the last shot had them looking at each other. Would be cool to take that every year as she grows up as your growth chart.

Lovely horse, it would have been difficult to say "No thanks" unless he has some major problems. Waiting now for a couple of shots of him under saddle. Has he been evented? Dressage?

Hey Julie,

I like these alot. In particular, I love the eyes. They really stand out for me. I think I like the last one the best. I like close-ups and the light seems to have been handled very well. I would clone out the rope in the first one - otherwise also very nice!

Cheers
James

I honestly do not know much about him except he was a horse at a local college used for their equestrian program. He had colic surgery and then could no longer handle the stress of showing. He has had a 7 year old ride him without problems. He is gigantic

Beyond that, I don't know much. I know he jumps, but how high, not sure
