We decided to go to the lake. It was a difficult decision since the last time we went Cas got a bacterial infection and was miserable for a couple weeks. But since she loved it so much we decided to give it a try.

Wiggy, the boxer was less then impressed but happy to sit on the shore and watch.

She preferred this stick over the ball we brought with us.

We got Wiggy a flotation device, but since he was uninterested in the water after his initial wading, we let Cas try it out. It's a little to big for her, but she likes wearing stuff anyway.

Thanks, Jeff

Cas isn't really a big swimmer, but she like the new environment:) She really hates getting water in her ears:) She pretty much just went in up to her head. Her feet only left the bottom when a wave came in.

Wiggy says, "Ahhh the sights, the sounds, the Smells, Good times were had by all"

Thanks, Jeff

Cas looks so happy. Wiggy thinks it's good spectator sport. I went to our lake today, wrong decision, it started blowing half a gale, I'd hoped to get some shots of small birds, they were there, but being blown about faster than they could move on purpose. Came home and sulked.

Hey Jeff,

Those are great. The first one is a real winner. I also like the shot with the life preserver on. Where on earth did you get that?

James

Thanks PC, Yeah Cas has a BALL.

And very Funny, I like that, Spectator Sport. That explains Wiggy pretty well, life is a “Spectator Sport”:) I’ll use that.

Sorry to hear your lake visit was less then productive. Maybe next time. Just last Friday I hiked over 8 miles in the woods and the only time I opened my 40lbs camera bag was to snack.

Thanks James,

Cas does have a ball and make my job of getting a couple keepers a little easier. The Life Preservers are available all over. We got this one at one of the big pet warehouse chains. As they get older, swimming is becoming more difficult so I think we need one for Cas too. But this ones is Wiggy’s, that’s why it’s to big on Cas.

Thanks, Jeff
