Hey Dean,

Definitely very much improved! My favorite is the dragonfly - I love dragonflies. They are hard to catch, yet very captivating.

Why do you use flash on your flowers? I am not sure that they need it, and I find the highlights distracting.

James

Hello James,
Well it was very overcast and as I did not bring along my tripod I had to use the flash to keep the shutter speed up and aperture stopped down for more DOP. Next time I go out to shoot like this I'm going to shoot everything I can using a tripod and no flash and see how they come out. I have never shot anything requiring shutter speeds too slow to hand hold yet.
Thanks for viewing & your comments, Dean

Very well executed macros! You seem to have a good control of the light; there are well balanced. My favorite is the dragonfly too! Spooky...

Thank you Misha for viewing and your comments. I thought these were decent as well, but I've got a long way to go to meet the standards of set by some of the other posters.

Shot pics for a couple of hours the other day and all are in the trash bin. Didn't help that it was rather windy, but tomorrow is another day.

Thanks again, Dean

Thank you Julie for the comments and viewing. Been looking at your pictures the last few days and they look very nice to me. Don't respond to any of the posts for critique as I am the least qualified here.

Thanks again, Dean
