A preface: this is an out-of-camera proof, as I supply to clients, so it isn't perfect ... but it's from a pretty funny set!

That made me laugh! Too funny!

Is that your regular white paper? My husband swears that there is a more plastic white backdrop that would work well. I have no idea though

Yep, just regular Arctic White paper from Superior ... but this time I blasted it with light (note the shadows in the foreground!!)

Very nice. it looks like it would make a perfect 8x10 crop and with a little background work, it will be a great xmas card!!!!

Nice capture!

Hey Kenny,

Very nice piece of work - I love the expressions. They definitely capture the "Christmas Spirit." How much work do you spend getting rid of the shadows for your clients, or do you not bother? This is something I go back and forth on in terms of what I want to produce as a proof.

Thanks. It really is great!
James

I do absolutely nothing for my proofs ... and in this case, I had the background light set wrong, normally it's not common to have foreground shadows!
But for prints with white backgrounds I remove all shadows except those UNDER the animal ... it only takes a few seconds, as I've been doing it forever.
