Hey Everyone,

I thought it would be nice to finish the year with our best photos. What I might like to add is why you like your particular photo. In this case, I have chosen two - one wildlife and one landscape.

I like the symmetry of this photograph with the 3 elk eating together. It is one of only a couple female elk shots that I have taken that I really like. It may not be technically perfect, but it is still a favorite for me.

This second shot is one that I like a lot as well. For me, it was different because I had not seen this particular vantage point of the teton's in the past (not that it has not happened, LOL, only that I have not seen it).

Cheers
James

I have many favorites from this year, I have posted my two favorite Equine shots from this year. I like the first one because you don't see horses in this position every day. And I like the second shot, because it was my first magazine cover shot.

Happy New Year
and happy shooting in 07

Thanks for the great idea to review the year. This image would be a favorite of mine since I love the rolling road that I travel often but the ice and snow changed the already pretty road to one I think added sparkle!
Hope all of you enjoy shooting in this new year.

Hey PeggySue and James - thanks for sharing. They are all very nice images.

Peggy, that shot really looks quite classic.

James - I admire anyone who can photograph birds well. I have such difficulty with it. Both are very nice shots - though I personally prefer the owl.

Cheers,
James
