A waterfall my wife and I found in West Glacier, can't remember the name of it. Other than the rule of thirds, which I didn't think of until after the fact, what can be done to enhance this. I haven't done any post processing to it.

Unfortunatly PSE4 dosnt have the tools. I had to bring it into CMYK and LAB color spaces and work in layers to get this cleaned up....only available in the full version of Photoshop. :-(

It was quick....only took about 10 min.

My reccomendations are to get some sort of White balance tool and learn how to use spot meter mode to meter off somthing like the green leaves in manual mode....this will alleviate any color casts and get the contrast right. You will be supprised how many pp issues are cured by getting the exposure and WB correct from the get-go. It the quickest killer of pop of the colors to have either incorrect.

Nice shot, would you mind telling us where in West Glacier you found that waterfall? I think that is Trick falls and it's located about 12 miles west of East Glacier Park, on the Two Medicine River. . .

That's it, also known as Running Eagle Falls.
In East Glacier, we were on our way up to St. Mary Lake and stopped.

Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it. I have this issue with a few pictures I have.

Thanks Jeff that looks a lot brighter than my original.
