No great photo but I went to pick up my son who is a freshman at Va Tech and went to the spontaneous memorial near the admissions building.Touching and sad.

Hard to know what to say... Appreciate seeing this photo and definitely glad your son is OK.

Isn't it amazing how flowers are such a universal symbol - nature's beautiful ephemera - here and gone in such a brief time, just like people.

Sad that we haven’t found the cure for killing one another. Excellent shot...Thanks for posting it.

Kinda weird to see Blacksburg in the news lately....kinda miss that town. (graduated High School just down the road about 3 miles) Happy to see the town...sad it is under these circumstances.

My best wishes and condolences to the families and friends affected by this tragedy.
