Not that my vote counts for anything ... but I have spent literally 3 - 5 hours a night since you made that change to my shot ... looking at tutorials, your edits and comments ... trying to match the edits using my original. There does not seem to be anything out there quite like whatever you did.
You making those edits gave me a goal and this has been a great learning experience for me. My version of this shot is now pretty close to what you did, but it has been a long haul and it is not there yet.
So anyway - if you are looking for motivation to write a tutorial on this .. you have a supporter in Phoenix!
