Thanks for the feedback. BIF can definitely be challenging when it comes to composition. As a matter of fact it is very rare that it is possible to "compose" the image before hand. And having the right FL for a given capture, especially when the birds are relatively close, can be frustrating. I probably really needed to be in the 70-80mm range for this shot. And don't get me started about focus.

So while I agree that it would have been great to have been able to catch the entire egret, wings and feet, I have to go here with the action of the shot while sacrificing composition. It is what this image illustrates about this great bird in flight that makes it work for me.
