I'm new to this forum and I really like your critique area. I love Grand Tetons and capturing the Big Teats is always fun. You obviously did a great job here.

Now I'm not sure if it is because of the reduction of your pics to low resolution web images but I find both of them a little soft. I don't mind soft with round curvy mountains, but these relatively young baby mountains have so much detail, I think they cry out to be sharp. I also think you let the highlights go on the mountains in the second one. I think you were probably going for the reflection (or it's another effect of downsizing), which I'm always a succer for, but you lost the mountains themselves. I know you were going for width on the second one, but I think you had the right idea of trying to be more intimate in the first one. Please excuse my playing with your photo, but I just thought you might try this kind of a crop to the second pic to get the intamacy and the reflection. I apologize for the artefacts in the edited version, but the low res pic off the web didn't leave much room for fiddling. I also darkened and saturated the sky a bit. I think this pic would be a great candidate for using a Rowell graduated ND filter during the capture, or for HDR in PP.
