Hey everyone. I would appreciate your comments and criticism on this shot. This was taken from a park in downtown Honolulu a couple of weeks ago. I have struggled with the PP on this, so would appreciate thoughts and suggestions.

I'll have to comment as I sure don't see anything to criticise on this image. Tack sharp and picture perfect.

Excellent work. Good use of frame space, the dynamic range has been very well handled. Colors are awesome. Exposure spot on. If I had one small knit....it would be that I would use Transform/distort to pull down the lower left hand corner to give a sense of level...I am guessing you uses a super wide on this wonderful shot.

It may be me, but I see a slight circular marking in front of the tree - was this shot through glass?

Hey Dave,

I really like this image a lot. At first, when I looked at it, I was drawn by the highlights at the tops of the tree. They did not look quite natural to me the first few times I looked at them . The more I have looked though, the more I have gotten used to them though.

The composition otherwise itself is quite impressive - I have never seen a tree like it. The one thing I will suggest is that you clone out the garbage pail.

Over-all, a rather unique shot! Thanks for sharing.

PS d kirk, I think that the spiral marking you are seeing is a water mark...yes, Dave?

Thanks for the comments everyone. The highlights on the trees are what attracted me to this picture and also what I struggled with in the PP.

I think I will distort it to get it to be level and I might see if I can remove the trash can acceptably; thanks for the suggestions Roman and James.

Kirk - the swirl marks are from a watermark.
