Welcome aboard. I just went to your blog - very nice. You have a lot of very different articles there.

As to the bird faces, I think that the cover shot was by my favorite. It is nicely separated from the background and very sharp. The eagle was my 2nd favorite as I really like the pose - though the point of focus appears to be the tip of the beak, and the face (particularly the eyes) looks a bit soft on my display.

Yeah it was a bit difficult getting that Eagle to be still. It was a shear accident to capture that photo of him but was glad for the moment. I am using that blog to write about different aspects of photography. I have created another site to host most of my wildlife shots, it is still under a little construction but viewable at http://floridawildlifephotographer.com
I was mostly a fashion photographer most of my photography years with injections of landscape, wildlife and fine art in between. I am now doing what I have the most passion about, Nature/Wildlife Photography!
